The UOC-KP announced the “exclusion” of its representative in Australia

On May 18, 2022, the decree of Filaret Denisenko on the exclusion of the head of the Australian vicariate Nektarios Alexandratos from the UOC-KP was published on the website of the Kyiv Patriarchate. The decree is dated May 10.

“Archimandrite Nektarios Alexandratos is expelled from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate for the incompatibility of his activities with church canons,” decree No. 11 of May 10, 2022 says.

At the same time, on May 14, Alexandratos himself announced that his structure had left the Kyiv Patriarchate, and he himself was “ordained a bishop” in the Archdiocese of Australia and New Zealand.

Earlier it was reported that Alexandratos is in a split from the Phanar`s structure in Australia.
