As a result of shelling in the Donetsk region, the Assumption Nicholas-Vasilevsky Monastery near Volnovakha in the Donetsk region was damaged, Bishop Ambrose of Volnovakha was wounded, writes the Information and Education Department of the UOC.

On March 28, 2022, as a result of shelling, the Nikolai-Vasilkovskaya monastery once again suffered destruction.

The rector of the Assumption Nicholas-Vasilovsky Monastery, Bishop Ambrose of Volnovakha, vicar of the Donetsk diocese, was wounded.

The diocese asks for holy prayers for the recovery of the wounded Bishop Ambrose.
