On March 11, 2022, at about 4 am in the village of Yarmolintsy, Khmelnytsky region, a fire broke out in the courtyard of the house of the priest of the UOC, Father Aleksey Shapoval. The cause of the fire was arson, the UOJ reports, citing sources in the Khmelnytsky diocese.

As a result, the bus of Father Alexei, a priest of the Church of the Icon of Our Lady of Kazan in Yarmolintsy, completely burned down, and the car of refugees from the Donetsk region, who now live with the priest, was damaged.

The perpetrators have not yet been identified, the police are investigating.
