Statement on the situation in Ukraine

With all our hearts, we follow the grave crisis of the last days in Ukraine and are deeply concerned about the human suffering of all our brothers and sisters in Christ.
The strongest power of a Christian is prayer. Therefore, together with other Christian leaders around the world, we call on all Christians to join in prayer for our world and for the people of Ukraine.
Here in Jerusalem, we offer our prayers at the site of the Crucifixion and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, that God will grant wisdom and courage to all Leaders and stakeholders. May He enlighten their minds to seek dialogue and unity, and for lasting peace to reign.
