In Mariupol, unidentified men in military uniform attacked the cash safe of the UOC Cathedral

A group of people in military uniforms and balaclavas carried out an armed attack on the St. Nicholas Cathedral of the UOC in Mariupol. This is written by the official website of the Donetsk diocese “Donbas Orthodox“.

Armed looters broke into the temple during the performance of the Sacrament of Baptism by the clergyman.

“Armed men beat an employee, a security guard and a priest, took money from the church safe, food, household items, and also hijacked two cars of the clergy from the temple territory,” the report says.

The employees of the cathedral could not determine the group’s belonging to any type of armed formation, as they were shocked.
