At a time when many parishioners of the Holy Intercession Church in the village of Novozhivotov, Vinnytsia region, are at the front, a group of local bastards from the OCU (otherwise I dare not call them) broke the prayer room of the UOC community and beat the Orthodox priest.
As reported from the scene, at about 11.00 the rector of the temple, Archpriest Peter Monastyrsky, was warned that adherents of the OCU were gathering near the temple.
The community had to fight for the shrine and pray in a small tent near the church.
When Father Peter arrived at the place, he saw that the building, along with all the utensils and icons, had been destroyed.
Moreover, the defilers of the temple rushed at the priest, kicked him down and continued to knock him out.
The police were called to the scene. The police did nothing. The police said that the prayer room is not a registered building, and the believers should now simply remove it. Moreover, they refused to accept a statement from Father Peter. Law enforcers told the priest that until he filmed and documented the beatings, no one would do anything. The nearest place where the beatings could be filmed is the town of Gaisyn, which is located 70 km from Novozhivotov. Naturally, it is impossible to get to Gaisyn in such conditions.
So, in the midst of hostilities on our land, adherents of the OCU show their unity and solidarity. They sow anarchy in the rear and beat priests who pray for peace.
