On February 20, 2022, a meeting of representatives of the youth of the UOC-KP diaspora was held in Philadelphia. This was reported on the Facebook page of the secretary of the vicariate of the “Kyiv Patriarchate” Luke Zgoba.

“Bishop” of the UOC-KP in the USA, together with the dean of the main cathedral of the vicariate Alexei Kacharai, met with members of the youth organization of the city of Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), young parishioners from the states of New York, New Jersey and Delaware joined the event. They presented “their vision of expanding the activities of the Sunday School of the Cathedral, as well as plans for various religious-patriotic and charitable events.”

As previously reported, on February 17, 2022, Olha Kovalyova was appointed Chairperson of the Youth Organization of the Patriarchal Stauropegial Cathedral of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker of the UOC-KP Vicariate in the USA and Canada, the city of Philadelphia and the entire state of Pennsylvania.

It was also noted in social networks that Filaret’s net of “youth teams” in the United States should be expected to expand.
