The newly appointed by “patriarch” Filaret Denisenko Exarch of the UOC-KP in Greece, Avxentius Marines, and the “bishop” of the UOC-KP from Greece, Chrysostom Kallis, made their first public appeal as hierarchs of the “Kyiv Patriarchate”. The document was published on the official website of the UOC-KP.
The appeal to the flock refers to the military threat to Ukraine. Also, the authors of the document emphasized that “together in prayerful standing for Ukraine today the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate, His Holiness Filaret, Patriarch of Kyiv and All Rus-Ukraine, unites with His All-Holiness Bartholomew, Archbishop of Constantinople – New Rome and the Ecumenical Patriarch and other world Christian leaders.”
Earlier it was reported that Filaret appointed the exarch of the UOC-KP in Greece.
Also, according to the OCU version, the “bishop” of Olbia Epiphany (Dimitriou) takes care of the flock of Greek origin in Ukraine.
