A split in a schism: the OCU banned its cleric for “co-serving” with a representative of the UOC-KP

On February 7, the “archbishop” of Ternopil Tikhon banned from serving and also dismissed from the post of rector of two parishes his “priest” Stepan Lanovoy. Lanovoy`s fault is the fact that he prayed together several times and “concelebrated the liturgy” with the “bishop” Nikon of Odessa from the UOC-KP, Pravblog writes.

“Representatives of the OCU” continue to form public evidence that a split has occurred in their structure (which hits very hard on the positions of Patriarch Bartholomew, who broke away from the Orthodox Church, who is trying to claim that his interference in Ukrainian church affairs allegedly led to the restoration of the unity of Orthodox believers in Ukraine).

In general, the situation inside the OCU looks more and more stupid every day. Firstly, because the “hierarchs” of Dumenko’s organization act in discord with regard to the problem of restoring the Kyiv Patriarchate (someone pretends that it does not exist, while others are actively trying to oppose it). Secondly, the “legalization” of Filaret by Bartholomew knocks all the trump cards out of the hands of the opponents of the UOC-KP (a simple question – how can a cleric be punished if he “concelebrated” with a person who was “ordained as a bishop” by the “patriarch” Filaret, recognized by the Phanar?). And it turns everything that happens into complete absurdity,” the Telegram channel writes.
