The moral authority of the clergy of the UOC among their believers is higher than the authority of the clergy of the OCU and the UGCC among their laity. This is evidenced by a poll conducted by the Oleksandr Razumkov Ukrainian Center for Economic and Political Studies, writes Archpriest Mykola Danilevich, Deputy Head of the Department for External Church Relations of the UOC.
In particular, 35.4% of believers of the UOC agreed with the statement: “Most of the clergy are deeply moral and spiritual people”, and only 24.8% in the OCU, and 25.8% in the UGCC.
