On January 30, in the village of Kotyuzhany, Vinnytsia region, supporters of the OCU organized a meeting of the territorial community. This is reported by the First Cossack.
At a meeting of the village, which was headed by a former Orthodox priest, and now the “cleric” of the OCU, Alexander Kazmirov, the question was raised of transferring the local ancient St. Nicholas Church to the structure of Epiphanius.
Recall that attempts to raiderly seize the temple in Kotyuzhany began back in January 2019. Local adherents of the OCU, led by priest Alexander Kazmirov, who had defected to Epiphany, tried to take the shrine from the Orthodox community and rector Father John. The faithful of the canonical Church sued the raiders. After several years of litigation, the adherents of the OCU were never able to complete what they started.
