In Africa, the children of clergy and parishioners who moved from the Alexandrian to the Russian Orthodox Church at the end of 2021 are being expelled from local church schools of the Alexandrian Patriarchate, Metropolitan Leonid of Klin, Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, said, Vzglyad writes.
“Children of priests and parishioners who studied at affordable schools of the Patriarchate of Alexandria will now not be able to study there, as they were expelled from there. Many of those parishioners who remained with their clergy who did not support the schism fear that their children may be left without education,” the hierarch said.
