A copy of the decree of “Patriarch” Filaret Denisenko on the appointment of Avxentius Marines as Exarch of the Ukrainian Diaspora in Greece has been published on Facebook in Filaret`s supporters` group.

“His Eminence Metropolitan Avxentius (Marines), head of the Chersonesos Diocese, is appointed Exarch of the Ukrainian Diaspora of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate in Greece,” the decree of January 24, 2022 reads.

Earlier, the Greek website Romfea reported the appointment of the former representative of the Church of the Old Calendarists of Greece Avxentius Marines as the Patriarchal Exarch of the UOC-KP in his homeland. However, the official resources of the UOC-KP have not yet published documentary evidence of this decision.
