On January 23, 2022, Bishop Pimen of Rivne and Ostroh visited the persecuted Holy Trinity community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Povcha, Dubno district, Rivne region, whose church was seized by raiders from the OCU, the UOJ reports.
Many believers and priests from neighboring parishes came to meet Vladyka. Bishop Pimen led the Divine Liturgy in the old church house, which the faithful of the UOC in Povcha equipped for prayer needs.
Last year, the UOC community in Povcha acquired a land plot and began preparing documents for the construction of a new church on it. Believers say they plan to start work in March. Vladyka Pimen blessed the community to start a good deed.
