Parish of the Russian Orthodox Autonomous Church established in Moldova

Chairman of the Bishops’ Conference of the Russian Orthodox Autonomous Church (AC ROAC) Grigory Lurie made a trip to the Republic of Moldova on January 14-16. According to Credo.Press, Lurie officially accepted the Chisinau parish named after St. Basil Polyanomerulsky under the jurisdiction of the ROAC AS. The Chairman of the ROAC AC also visited the parishioners of this community living in Nisporeni.

The parish was formed by Christians who left the Moscow Patriarchate a few years ago. The choice of jurisdiction for them, among other things, was associated with the attitude to imyaslavie.

The church of the parish is planned to be located in a house in Chisinau. There is no permanent clergyman in the parish.
