Without parishioners, but with the blessing of the head of the Phanar: the OCU is building a cathedral in Transcarpathia

The “bishop” of the OCU, the head of one of the three officially existing dioceses in Transcarpathia, Varsonofy Rudnik, published a photo of the design of the cathedral, which should belong to the Transcarpathian diocese. The temple will be in the form of crosses, DFU reports.

The project and design was made by Ukrainian architect Oleg Sleptsov.

Also on the project, in addition to the signature and seal of the architect, there is a signature with a blessing from the head of the Church of Constantinople, Patriarch Bartholomew. According to Rudnik, he “blessed personally even before the signing of the Tomos.”

As previously reported, the “bishopric liturgies” of the OCU in Transcarpathia are not collected even by 20 laity.
