The District Administrative Court of Kyiv received a lawsuit demanding to oblige the State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience “to register the decision of the Local Council of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate” as an active religious organization. A message about this is posted on the OASK website, writes LIGA.

In the message about the receipt of the lawsuit, it is said that it was filed on behalf of the “Primate of the Church, Patriarch of Kiev and All Russia-Ukraine Filaret.”

The claims also contain a demand to recognize as unlawful the inaction of the State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience regarding the registration of the said resolution in the state register.
