The hierarchs of the Volyn diocese congratulated the parishes that suffered from the raiding of the OCU supporters on Christmas

Archbishop Nathaniel of Volyn and Lutsk paid an archpastoral visit to the parishes that suffered from the raiding of the OCU supporters in the villages of Nuino, Nesvich, Sadov, Veseloe, Shepel and Zhidichin. Vicar of the Volyn diocese, Bishop Kamen-Kashirsky Athanasius, congratulated the religious communities of the Gorokhovsky and Berestechkovsky districts on Christmas. This was reported by the Information and Education Department of the UOC.

On January 9, Archbishop Nathanael visited parishioners in Nuino; on January 10, religious communities in the villages of Nesvich, Sadov, Veseloe, Shepel and Zhidichin. On January 10, Bishop Athanasius visited the parishes of the Gorokhovsky and Berestechkovsky deaneries.

Such missionary trips during the Christmas period have already become traditional and are intended to wish Merry Christmas and support Christians who have been left without churches in connection with the raider actions of the OCU supporters.

The believers rejoiced at the greetings and with one heart and lips, filled with love, they praised Christ with Christmas carols.
