The Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Porfiry, fell ill with the coronavirus, and therefore will spend the near future on home treatment, writes Pershy Kozatsky.

“His Holiness has very mild symptoms of a viral infection, he was prescribed appropriate treatment, and he complies with all epidemiological measures,” the SOC website said.

It is specified that thanks to electronic means of communication, Patriarch Porfiry is in constant contact with the clergy and “quite calmly” performs administrative tasks for the management of the Serbian Church.
