One of the most beloved and authoritative orthodox priests in Kenya tragically died in a car accident

On January 5, Fr. Chrysostomos Aggrey Wanjala of Nairobi perished on the road between Kakamega and Malava, on his way back home from Nakuru, orthochristian.com informs.

He leaves behind a wife and several children.

Donations are being accepted by Fr. Antipas Ohdiambo through the Ngando Orthodox Christian School and Community Learning Centre in Nairobi to assist with the funeral costs and help the family via GoFundMe and Facebook.

Earlier it was reported that African clerics who have joined the ROC are required to sign a refusal of this step.
