Believers in Greece urged to book a place in the church for the service on Christmas

Metropolitan Maxim of Yanninsky issued a circular, according to which believers must reserve a place in the church for Christmas services by phone, RIA Novosti writes.

The circular says that “on the holy days of the Nativity of our Lord,” the presence of believers in the church is permitted at the rate of one person per two square meters, and the minimum distance between people should be two meters. To ensure the greatest presence of believers, a guide has been issued that applies to all churches of Yannina and the parish in Metsovo, according to a document published on the website of the Metropolitanate.

“In order to avoid any confusion and misunderstanding, believers are asked to contact the person in charge of the church by phone before going to church and guarantee their attendance at the service,”  the circular says.
