“Metropolitan” of the OCU said that the coronavirus stopped the “transfers” from the UOC

The hierarch of the OCU in Volyn region, Mikhail Zinkevych, said that about 130 parishes in the region had transferred from the UOC to the new church structure. According to him, this is a fifth of the parishes that were captured by the OCU as a whole in Ukraine, Channel 12 reports.

But now, he said, “the transition process has stalled due to the coronavirus pandemic.”

“The activity of public life is at a very low level. Today you cannot go out, go there. Either there was a disease in general, then one cannot enter without vaccinated… Accordingly, the activity in church life is at a low level,” explains the “Metropolitan.”

Why active seizures stopped back in 2019, Zinkevych did not explain.

“We need to get rid of this slavery here (pointed to his head, – ed.). We need to “vaccinate” our brains today. And when we are “vaccinated”, then we will be independent of both covid and various Russian influences. This is a process. It will still be there, we will have a Ukrainian state, we will not have a war… Jews, in order to enter the promised land, walked in a complete vacuum for 40 years. And we live in the center of Europe,” Zinkevych continued.
