The Head of the Belarusian Orthodox Church received Archbishop Joseph Stanevsky

On December 22, 2021, at the Minsk Diocesan Administration, the Head of the Belarusian Church, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl Benjamin met Archbishop Joseph Stanevsky, Metropolitan of Minsk and Mogilev. This was reported by mospat.

During the meeting, topical issues of church life and the challenges of the modern world facing Christianity were discussed. The hierarchs expressed their interest in the further development of relations based on the experience of positive interaction between the traditional confessions of the Republic of Belarus.

The Patriarchal Exarch congratulated all believers of the Roman Catholic Church in Belarus on the upcoming holiday of the Nativity of Christ.

As previously reported, the new head of the RCC in Belarus took office in October 2021.
