The adoption of the law on the forced renaming of the UOC was a PR campaign. This was stated by the member of the Ukrainian parliament Alexander Kachura at the round table “Three years of an attempt to forcibly rename the UOC”, writes Pravblog.
According to him, some deputies did not even understand what they were voting for, and some people’s deputies are still ashamed, since they supported the anti-constitutional law to please their leader, who was then the president of Ukraine.
As Kachura noted, the issue with the mentioned law should be resolved in the Constitutional Court.
Also, Alexander Kachura asked to convey to him and his colleagues in the interfactional association “For Interfaith Peace” information about the illegal activities of officials. According to him, such people have no place in the civil service, and they will be punished for their activities as “black registrars”.
When discussing the problem of illegal re-registrations, the “black registrars” were named – Gergelyuk and Saletsky.
As previously reported, a round table session on the topic “Three years of an attempt to forcibly rename the UOC” began in Kyiv.
