Patriarch Bartholomew received a delegation of North Macedonian schismatics

At the Phanar in Istanbul, Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople received a delegation of the so-called “Macedonian Orthodox Church” headed by the “Bishop of Antanis” Parthenius, hegumen of the Bigorsky monastery. The delegation included monks and nuns from several schismatic monasteries from North Macedonia. The meeting was attended by the Metropolitan of Chalcedon Emmanuel (Adamakis), who previously oversaw the advancement of the schism in Ukraine, writes the Khrisma Center.

The schismatics turned to Bartholomew, after which he blessed them.

“Perhaps the Orthodox world is now on the eve of yet another great division. The reaction of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Russian Orthodox Church to what is happening is very important, as well as the inter-Orthodox support declared in 2020 in Amman in overcoming the North Macedonian schism, ”writes the Telegram channel.
