Exarch of the Ecumenical Patriarchate: OCU is “not a separate structure”

Local Churches (with the exception of one) did not break off communion with those that had already recognized the OCU. And this is a “logical chain”. This was stated by the head of the stavropegia of the Patriarchate of Constantinople in Kiev, Bishop Mikhail (Anishchenko), writes the RP.

“The Orthodox Church of Ukraine is developing, its autocephaly has already been recognized by four local Churches, other local Churches (with the exception of one) did not break off communion with those that have already been recognized. Therefore, each person can continue the logical chain himself. The Ukrainian Church is not a separate structure, it is one the very Church of Christ in Ukraine. Just administratively it is a separate unit “, – explained the Bishop of Koman Mykhailo (Anishchenko).
