In Greece, anti-vaccination priests were banned from professing believers

Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Zakynthos has developed his own strategy to interrupt the activities of priests who oppose vaccination. Chrysostomus decided to deprive them of the right to receive confessions, Cleric News writes.

Chrysostomus stated that spiritual fathers are not allowed to become moral culprits for the deaths of unsuspecting and gullible confessors, create social dramas, and speak out about medical issues.

We will remind, the government of Greece, in order to convince citizens to get vaccinated, decided to appeal to cultural figures, business and the church. In particular, after a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Health, the Holy Synod of the EOC issued a circular for reading to the flock, in which it stated that the vaccines are effective against the Delta strain, do not contain microchips and do not affect the personality of the vaccinated.
