The officials deceived us, – a cleric of the UOC after a prayer stand at the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration

The believers were openly deceived, and the promised meeting with the officials of the Vinnitsa Regional State Administration did not take place. This was told by Archpriest Vasily Balan, a participant in a prayer stand in Vinnitsa, Dean of the Murovani Kurylivtsi deanery of the Mogilev-Podolsk Diocese of the UOC, Archpriest Vasily Balan, writes the UOJ.

The priest said that just before the beginning of the prayer service, representatives of the Regional State Administration approached them and invited them to a meeting with one of the officials.

“We told them that the prayer service will begin right now, and we cannot leave people, we asked them to wait. They said – “good”. But when the prayer service ended, they didn’t let us go beyond the lobby, and there was no meeting,” Father Vasily said.

He noted that the appeal of the believers was accepted and registered, but what results can one hope for, “if we were deceived from the very beginning, they just laughed at us.”

On December 3, believers of the UOC held a prayer stand under the building of the Vinnitsa Regional State Administration in order to prevent the next illegal re-registration of communities, as it became known the day before, to declare the need for everyone – including the authorities – to comply with the laws of Ukraine and demand the dismissal of the “black registrar” Igor Saletsky…

After the prayer service, the believers were not allowed into the building of the Regional State Administration, demanding certificates of vaccination, but the appeals were accepted and registered.

Earlier, the police prevented the believers from reaching the regional center.
