On November 27, 2021, the vicar of the Volyn diocese of the UOC, Bishop Kamin-Kashirsky Afanasiy (German), served the rite of laying the stone for the construction of a church in honor of the icon of Our Lady of Kazan in Sadiv, Lutsk region. This was reported on the website of the diocese.

The hierarch consecrated the cross, the cornerstone, the foundation of the future building and laid a commemorative capsule.

The bishop said his good wishes to the rector of the community Volodymyr Meles and the parishioners.

As previously reported, the UOC temple in the village of Sadiv was captured by the raiders of the OCU in 2019. Also, supporters of the new structure opened terror against the family of the abbot, who remained with his community and did not concede the church house to the schismatics.
