On November 26, 2021, the representatives of the OCU made a new raiding attempt at the parish of the holy martyrs Faith, Hope and Charity and their mother Sophia of the UOC-KP in the town of Klavdievo-Tarasovo in the Kyiv region. This was reported on the Facebook page of the Kyiv Patriarchate.

In the morning, at 7 o’clock, supporters of the OCU, led by Ivan Dziuba, with the help of 2 bulldozers, illegally began to dig a trench to lay the foundation of a future church, on the church territory of the UOC-KP parish. And later, at about 2 pm, a cement mortar was brought in to fill the foundation.

The representatives of the OCU do not have a building permit and approved project documentation.

In the morning, the rector of the parish, Sergiy Struk, was in the churchyard together with the parishioners who were trying to stop the illegal land work, but the representatives of the OCU, showing aggression towards them, continued their crime. In support of the rector and parishioners, the hierarch of the UOC-KP Andriy Marutsak came along with the clergy from Kyiv and the region.

Due to the tense situation, representatives of the UOC-KP to the scene called a patrol police squad, and later an investigative and operational group, who saw in the actions of the OCU a violation of the law: the start of construction without proper permits. The investigators invited an expert-architect to the scene of these events, who assessed and confirmed the illegality of the start of construction. As a result, the police, together with the community, which had previously expressed their desire to stay with Filaret, stopped the illegal actions of the OCU and did not allow the foundation to be poured.

Attacks by representatives of the OCU on this parish have been taking place since 2019. The community has been trying for about two years in various courts to protect its church and ensure its constitutional right to freedom of religion. The court proceedings were transferred to the cassation instance.
