On November 16, 2021, at the age of 51, after a serious illness, His Eminence Metropolitan Alipy of Dzhankoy and Razdolnensky departed for eternity. This was reported by the Information and Education Department of the UOC.

During his service at the Dzhankoy cathedra, Vladyka Alipy paid great attention to the search for peaceful coexistence of people of different nationalities and confessions living on the Crimean peninsula. The clergy treated their archpastor with love for his sincerity and dedication in the spiritual care of the flock, despite all the difficulties that fell on the period of Metropolitan Alypy’s archpastorship.
