The Holy Synod of the Church of Greece has issued a new encyclical, in which it appealed to believers and clergy in connection with the observance of measures of protection against coronavirus, writes the Orthodox times.
In particular, the Synod urged believers who have not been vaccinated to come to churches only after they have done a PCR or rapid test, and also urged to be vaccinated.
Reportedly, priests, singers and nuns were ordered to conduct two tests a week under the supervision of church councils.
