“Bishop” of the OCU Mark visited the Holy Dormition Church in the village of Uspenka in the Kirovograd region, for the first time after the seizure of the UOC temple by supporters of the new structure. This is stated on the Facebook page of the Kropyvnytskyi diocese of the OCU.
It is also indicated that he “awarded the patrons, patrons and parishioners of the Holy Dormition community with signs of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.”
Earlier it was reported that after the local Holy Dormition Church was sealed, and activists of the OCU installed their locks on the doors, believers began to equip a new room. People gather in a house donated by caring fellow villagers.
According to the parish rector, the believers are positively disposed, and even more residents are coming to the service. The community hopes that the court on the sealed Assumption Church will decide in their favor, but if not, the believers will build a new temple.
