The UOC-KP continues its restoration and branching in the USA. As reported on the page “For the Ukrainian Church” on Facebook, a youth organization of the “Kyiv Patriarchate” appeared in Boston: “Patriarch” Filaret approved its leader.
“The Orthodox youth of Boston (USA) is now institutionalized… Alexander Strelko, director of the Brain Buildersat BIDMC volunteer program, who is also a mentor and organizer of fundraising for Children’s Services of Roxbury (USA), has been appointed head of the Boston Youth Organization.
Boston became the second city on the North American continent, which after Philadelphia begins to unite Christian youth who support the idea of the Kyiv Patriarchate.
Alexander Strelko is an ethnic Ukrainian who took over from his father, Volodymyr Strelko, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the desire to engage in talented youth who seeks to do great things for the sake of their people,” the page says.
It was also noted that in the near future the network of youth organizations will be expanded to other cities in the United States.
