Tulchin diocese sent a protest to Zelensky in connection with the seizure of the church in Krasnoselka

The Emergency Diocesan Council of the Tulchin Diocese decided to “send a letter of protest to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, as the guarantor of the Constitution and the unity of Ukraine, with an earnest request to protect the rights, honor and dignity of Ukrainian citizens – Orthodox believers in the Tulchin Diocese of the UOC”, as well as to involve the media in public coverage of the seizures churches of the diocese and the reaction of law enforcement agencies to them.

The Council decided to perform a procession of the cross or prayer services in the deaneries of the Tulchin diocese with a prayer for an end to the seizure of churches and legal oppression of the clergy and the faithful of the UOC.

On September 3, supporters of the OCU captured the St. John the Theological Church in the village. Krasnoselka, previously sealed by the police.
