Representatives of the schismatic “Orthodox Church of Ukraine” seized the St. John the Theological Church of the Tulchin diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village. Krasnoselka, Gaysinsky district, Vinnytsia region. Archpriest Oleg Murakhovsky, the dean of the Bershad church district, informed the Diocesan Administration of the illegal actions of the raiders, Pravlife reports.
According to the dean, at 10 a.m. on September 3, 2021, the villagers called him and told him that on the territory of the Church of St. conducted services. At that time, there were already two police cars near the temple, allegedly to “ensure the protection of law and order.” The schismatics forced the priest of the rural community of the UOC Priest Andrey Kozyuk to enter the church house, where the attackers broke windows and doors, so that he would take his things, “because tomorrow they will not be there.”
At 12.15 pm, the dean informed about the arbitrariness on the line “102”, but the investigative-operational group arrived at the scene at 14.55, although, as noted in the message, “the distance from the regional department to the village is only 65 km.”
Only after calling the hotline of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the police began collecting statements and explanations. But by this time Rostislav Protsanin, the organizer of the seizure of the temple, had already left.
“According to the deputy chairman of the Bershad OTG, Mr. Nechitailo, he (the chairman) already had an“ oral order from the leadership ”to ensure the“ correct ”solution to the issue of the church. It seems that the high supporters of the Phanar, after the end of the visit of Patriarch Bartholomew to Kiev, “gave the command” for all local authorities to facilitate the seizure and re-registration of the churches of the UOC, including in the Bershad region, in favor of the so-called OCU, without waiting final decisions of the Supreme Judicial Power of Ukraine “, – the message says.
On September 4, 2021, the schismatics served in the captured St. Krasnoselka “thanksgiving prayer”. The raiders expressed their gratitude to the law enforcement officers for ensuring law and order on the territory of the temple and the adjacent territory. According to them, the OCU community entered the temple “on the basis of the decision of the courts of all instances.”
