Representatives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Assembly party organized a protest action on the occasion of the visit of Patriarch Bartholomew to Ukraine. The information was published on the Facebook page of the assembly.

Members of the assembly supporting the UOC gathered under the Boryspil airport building and under the Intercontinental hotel, where Patriarch Bartholomew was supposed to live during his stay in Kiev, and unfolded posters with the words “We have our own Church, which was attended by generations of our ancestors , we walk and our children will walk ”and others.

According to representatives of the party, the main purpose of the rally is to show that believers in Ukraine are against any external control, not only in politics, but also in matters of the Church.
