The OCU leadership, which convinces Ukrainians that it is necessary to pray exclusively in Ukrainian, concelebrated with Patriarch Bartholomew, who served in Greek.
The video was published by the Chernivtsi-Bukovynska diocese of the UOC with the comment: “# molimosya_rіdnoyu_movoyu. We hope that all patriots of the OCU understand every word of their Patriarch Bartholomew. ”
“Here we hear patriotic appeals to God. Only the Ukrainian language is the language of prayer,” the OCU explained, commenting on a video in which at that moment the head of the Phanar is praying in Greek.
As a reminder, at the end of 2020, the OCU hung billboards all over Ukraine with the image of its head Epiphany and the text: “Molimosya in my native language.”
