According to preliminary information, on August 21, 2021, more than 10,000 believers gathered at a prayer stand at the walls of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine against the arrival of Patriarch Bartholomew to the country, according to the UOJ.

There are more than 10,000 believers of the UOC who came to the Verkhovna Rada to express their attitude to the visit of Patriarch Bartholomew to Ukraine.

Eyewitnesses said that people occupied the entire Constitution Square, and many simply did not fit and were nearby, in the Mariinsky Park.
