A source – a specialist in the field of Ukrainian state security – told to “Glavkom” that Patriarch Bartholomew will be guarded by representatives of American security service. According to him, the guest from Istanbul will be guarded around the clock by employees of the State Security Department and the Security Service of Ukraine. The situation was commented on by Pravblog.

“Do not forget that Patriarch Bartholomew is a citizen of Turkey. Consequently, the Turkish special services will look after him. And at the same time, the Americans, since they have their own interests here,” the source emphasized.

“As they say, everything is stated clearly. But where in the interweaving of the goals and objectives of the Patriarchate of Constantinople and Washington to find the real interests of Ukraine is a separate question. In relation to which, to be honest, the schismatics themselves will not find an intelligible explanation,” writes the Telegram-channel.
