On August 22, 2021, during a divine service with Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople, the “priests” of the OCU were forbidden to wear mitres, the OCU website reports, the UOJ writes.
The press service of the newly created religious organization published the rules according to which access to the liturgy with the participation of the head of Phanar and Dumenko will be carried out.
The OCU stressed that during the divine service, “priests” should not wear mitres, “using only kamilavkas (monks – klobuki)”. In addition, you will need to have identity documents with you.
Recall that to pass to the service with Bartholomew, identity documents will be required, so the OCU flock was also forbidden to bring water, food and posters to the territory of the temple.
