The Ukrainian Orthodox Church still remains the only force that really unites the whole of Ukraine, said Metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and Brovary, the UOC Chancellor.

“This is especially clearly felt during the All-Ukrainian Religious Procession, when people from the North, South, East and West of our state merge in common prayer. People with different political, ideological and personal preferences, which fade into the background against the background of the main thing – brotherly love in Christ.

It is my deep conviction that such a unity in faith can just become the key to solving a problem that politicians have not been able to resolve for a long time.

It is not only about establishing the long-awaited peace in Ukraine, but also finding support to keep the state from collapse due to various internal contradictions and conflicts.

Taking this into account, one can come to an unambiguous conclusion – those forces that are working to destroy the canonical Church are working against the interests of Ukraine and its future, ”the bishop said.
