On August 13, 2021, a festive liturgy began in the island of Imbros with the participation of Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople, Patriarch of Alexandria Theodore and “Metropolitan” of the OCU Epiphany Dumenko.

The video of the first concelebration of Patriarch Theodore with Dumenko was broadcast on Facebook.

According to the resources of the OCU, on the way to the island of Imbros, where Patriarch Bartholomew celebrates on this day the 60th anniversary of his deacon ordination, the head of the OCU visited the residence of the Metropolitan of Chalcedon in the Kadıköy region of Istanbul.

It also became known earlier that Patriarch Theodore is the only primate who responded to the invitation of the head of the Phanar to Imbros.
