On August 8, 2021, Metropolitan Sergiy of Ternopil and Kremenets consecrated a new church in honor of the Nativity of the Mother of God in the village of Lyudvishche, Shumsky district, Ternopil region. This was reported by the Information and Education Department of the UOC.
At the Divine Liturgy, the bishop was co-served by the priests of the Ternopil diocese and the clergy who arrived from other districts of the region.
The head of the Ternopil diocese, Metropolitan Sergius, brought to the village. Ludwische from the Holy Dormition Pochaev Lavra, a miraculous icon of the Mother of God, with which a large flock and clergy made the procession.
Thanks to the financial support of the philanthropist and philanthropist Andrei Vasilyevich Biba, the church was built in 94 days – from the beginning of the construction of the foundation to the first service.
