Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus congratulated President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the Day of the Baptism of Rus and wished to develop cooperation with the canonical UOC. This is stated on the website of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The Patriarch noted “the historical choice of the holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, who became a turning point in the history of the East Slavic peoples, determined the further path of their social and cultural development, laid the foundation for the spiritual unity of these countries for centuries.”
