At the UOC Cross Procession, we saw many good people – a representative of the Serbian Orthodox Church

We know that people who come to the temple who are devout know where the truth is. I appeal to the Ukrainians – come to church in order to feel free, so that everything will be good and prosperous with you. This was announced by Bishop Stefan of Remesian, vicar of the Patriarch of Serbia, during a briefing by the UOC Chancellor, Metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and Brovary, and representatives of the Local Orthodox Churches, guests of the celebration of the Baptism of Rus.

“Our peoples are similar. And Ukrainian, and Serbian, and Russian. And we must believe in God.

Yesterday we saw the procession, there were many people, many good people. And we are glad that the Lord has vouchsafed us to be with you on this great holiday.

Our Serbian people also have such a saint – John Vladimir. His life was similar to the life of Prince Vladimir.

As long as such saints are with us, our path will be clear. And we need to follow this road so that we get everything we want as Orthodox Christians. Free (from sin) life, the beauty of the temple. God with us! And is, and will be!

I convey the greetings of Patriarch Porfiry to our Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry! ”- said the hierarch.

On July 27, a religious procession dedicated to the 1033th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus was held in Kiev. The UOC estimates that 350,000 people took part in it.
