As part of the celebration of the 1033th anniversary of the Baptism of Kievan Rus with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine Onuphry, in all churches and monasteries of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church as part of the bell ringing action “Glory to Thee, God!” the festive Blagovest chime will be made. The ringing, as a commemoration of the holiday and a call to common prayer, will be made on July 28 at 12.00 and will last 15 minutes.

The corresponding circular was sent to all Right Reverend Bishops of the UOC on July 14.
