The first day of the meeting of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece ended, at which the “question” of Metropolitans Cosmas of Aetolia and Seraphim of Kitira, who are accused of “disrespect for church authority, theological errors, moral incitement to disobedience of believers in relation to the state and proposals of the church on health issues”, writes the Orthodoxia news agency.

The hierarchs “will be invited to testify at the next meeting in August,” the website writes.
