The preliminary details of the program of the visit of Patriarch Bartholomew to the Ukrainian land have become known.
It is noted that the guest will take part in both state and religious events.
In particular, it provides for a joint “service” with Epiphany and the Istanbul hierarch, meetings of the latter with the leadership of the state, the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, the public and youth.
It is also expected that the patriarch will take part in events dedicated to the preservation of the environment and communicate with the press.
Let’s hope that among the journalists there will be those who will ask the guest difficult questions about the aggravation of the church schism in Ukraine, the persecution of believers in the UOC, etc.
