The European deanery of the Kyiv Patriarchate celebrated the second anniversary of its creation: on July 3, 2019, the first meeting of Philaret’s supporters in Europe took place with the participation of parishes of Germany, Spain and Italy. This was reported on the Facebook page of the deanery.

In just a week, the preparation of the constituent assembly of 2019 managed to gather about 30 participants, recalls the dean’s office of the UOC-KP.

“It was, of course, sad that our priests from the German Deanery from the cities (Neuss, Berlin, Mannheim) did not come and would no longer belong to the Kyiv Patriarchate. It is also a pity that by this decision they pulled the entrusted parishes along with them. Also, representatives of the parish from Valencia (Spain) and some other participants who first submitted an application did not participate,” reminded Filaret`s structure in Europe.
